36 Exposures, found and salvaged photography
June 2018, Plant Noma Manchester

This body of work and exhibition has been a few years in the making, the first of the pieces was found in 2013 and ever since them I have been working with found and salvaged analogue photo materials in one way or another. During my first year at Manchester School of Art I started working in the Visual Resources Centre ( the slide library) and since then have been working with 35mm slides, lantern slides, projectors and amassing a collection of materials. I have negatives and ID photos, torn snapshots, slide projectors and more that I included in the work. I also exhibited the "Alien Landscapes" series, a set of 35mm slides I made from end bits of film rolls and slides combined with salvaged negatives of the night sky. Available here
Below are some photo galleries of the second instance of 36 Exposures, a curated exhibition featuring almost 30 artists from the around the world all working with found and salvaged photography in different ways, the exhibition was held as part of Fringe Arts Bath 2019
